   How to submit ACT 48 Credits/Hours to PDE:
            (All reporting is electronic except **)
  • ACT 48 reporting for college credit - In state (PA) colleges and universities transmit college credits to your continuing education record electronically.  Please contact the registrar.
  • ACT 48 reporting for college credit - ** Out of state colleges and universities transmit ACT 48 college credits by sending sealed/official transcripts to PDE. Notify the registrar to send transcript to:  PDE-Act 48 Transcripts   333 Market Street, 8th Floor   Harrisburg, PA  17126-0333
  • ACT 48 reporting for continuing education/professional development (in-service, workshops, etc) - In state PA school districts and *approved providers* are the only sources to eligible to transmit hours electronically.  Notify the provider to add these hours.
  • ACT 48 reporting for continuing education/professional development (in-service, workshops, etc) - Out of state schools cannot credit you with ACT 48 hours as PDE does not have a reciprocal agreement for this.
